Architectural Review Committee

This committee helps maintain property values and our Timacuan life style. They do this by reviewing and approving changes to the homes, yards and common areas of Timacuan, to assure that individual changes do not impose unfairly on other homeowners, and that we are in compliance with our covenants.

Communications Committee

The purpose of this committee is to keep Timacuan Homeowners informed about what's going on in the community and how it might affect them. The committee is is responsible for the monthly "Timacuan Times" newsletter, the Homeowners Directory and the Community Services website, Timacuan.org.

Community Relations

This committee focuses on initiatives that will improve the quality of life in Timacuan, both on a short and long term basis. The committee identifies future community needs based on observation, visits to other communities, receives input from Timacuan homeowners, and develops and implements the initiatives that are approved by the Board of Directors.

Covenants

The covenants committee interprets the association covenants and provides supplementary guidelines for the board of directors and the community when necessary. The committee works with the Board and the Property Manager to ensure that all association covenants are fairly and uniformly enforced, and that disputes are thoroughly investigated and evaluated before further action is taken.

Landscape

This committee is responsible for ensuring that the extensive landscaping that is a prat of Timacuan's common areas is maintained in accordance with the standards of the community. This includes overseeing the companies that provide weekly lawn, shrub and water features services, ensuring that the community wide irrigation system continues to operate effectively, and developing and implementing new landcaping features to keep the community's ovrall appearance fresh and inviting.

In addition to the standing committees, the board will appoint, as required, ad hoc committees  for the coordination of specific projects.
