The Lake Mary Senior Center fosters and promotes better living skills for those area residents who are 55 or older. The center is located at the new Lake Mary Municipal Center at 911 Wallace Court (off Rinehart Road) and is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Exercising is an effort: try mild Tai Chi.

Line dancing tones the body - some dancers have formed a team that entertains for fun.

Have you ever dreamed of being an artist? To create a story using a paint brush? Backyard Art helps you express your dreams.

If you like to make gifts for family and friends, join the Folk Crafters. You do extra to help out Meals on Wheels or Assisted Living Centers. Make the bears for Bears On Patrol for the city police and fire departments.

Join WOOPIES (well off older persons into everything). We make many needed articles such as walker and wheelchair bags, cancer hats, shawls, quilts, lap robes, and all kinds of cloth bags for area projects. We get patterns from the Internet and from associates.

We collect donations of all sorts, and support local and national drives.

We maintain a library and lounge, a place to meet with friends, and play cars, dominoes, and board games. Or help put a jigsaw puzzle together.

Seniors Against Crime helps settle problems for seniors. They have information about all areas that seniors can ask. Click here for more information.

We have several clubs, including Red Hats, AARP chapter 4878, and a Birthday Club. Tell us what you would like - we are here to please!

We are RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program) Station # 70. Volunteering is helping our neighbors.
