Our club is primarily a ladies social group to help new/existing residents settle into their communities. We also have numerous fundraising projects for local charities. We have over 207 members who live in Seminole, Orange and Volusia counties. Monthly luncheons are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month September thru May at Heathrow Country Club and Maison Jardin. A New Member Coffee is held about every 6 weeks. Watch the newsletters and calendar for dates and locations.
There are many different activity groups held either at club member's homes or public places, such as new member coffees, explorers, book club discussions, lunch etc. and numerous game groups who play bunco, bridge, shanghai, mah jongg, canasta, euchre and more. Some activities continue through the summer, so check the calendar for the schedule or contact us via e-mail. Our fundraisers support local charities such as police departments, animal shelters, youth sports etc. Yearly dues are $25.00.
Potential members may participate in one luncheon or activity before required to join. If you would like to receive more information regarding Seminole Spokes activity groups or a newsletter, e-mail us at or contact Carrie Patterson, a Timacuan resident, at 407-323-2297. |
