Timacuan Golf and Country Club

Timacuan has over 90 acres of common area for all residents to enjoy. The Timacuan Golf and Country Club have 150 acres of beautifully maintained greens, ranked 14th in the state. Residents enjoy nearly 400 acres of luxury homes, landscaped grounds and an abundance of birds and wildlife.

2014 has welcomed the grand reopening of the newly renovated golf course and banquet hall. The new Mini-Verde putting greens look and putt amazing, and those that have played say they are amongst the best in Orlando. Juniors can also practice their swing at the Eagles Dream Golf Academy. There are many different golf and social memberships available, and the Grill Room is a great place to grab a casual bite while the formal Banquet Hall is reserved for special events.

The semi-private, independently owned Timacuan Golf and Country Club, home to the previous Mike Bender Golf School and the current Eagle’s Dream Golf Academy for juniors was designed by Ron Garl in 1987. The meticulously maintained course has two distinctively different nines. The front nine feels Scottish, with expansive rolling fairways and three water hazards. The back is more like a Carolina course with moss-draped oaks and water hazards. Timacuan is ranked among the top 20 golf courses in Florida for its challenging play and stunning scenery. A driving range, practice greens, pro shop and dining facility round out this unique golf and country club.
